Noma Book Signing

In case you've been living in Mars, or are just not an absolute food junkie like meself, Noma is the hot ticket restaurant of the World right now.

It's all about foraging, "extreme local" cuisine.

Quite the world citizen, Monique Vanni is an international environmental consultant, with a diplomatic background. She's also a PHD candidate at LSE's Department of Social Policy, an ashtanga yoga practitioner and likes the odd life drawing class.

She's chosen London because it is truly a cosmopolitan experience, and each bus ride feels like a Benetton comercial.

Monique has been in London for over three years, and is always peeling away at new layers of this big onion of a metropolis. While she considers herself a big contemporary art enthusiast, her greatest passion is food.

She loves to buy it, cook it, eat it, and talk about it.... Her London is a bit off the beaten track: a bit scruffy, but glamorous nonetheless. Like Brigitte Bardot after a rough night.
